When a Core2 isn't enough for gaming...

Well... I likely just wasted my time getting a monitor for the Dell XPS machine. Most of the games I'd otherwise play won't work because it uses a Core2Quad. Minimum system requirements are moving toward Core-i devices, and I'm getting left behind on that. Not that I mind too much (see "On OS upgrades" for my views on this sort of thing), but it would've been nice to play some more modern games occasionally.

That said, the monitor's gonna make a nice second display for my iMac, I think. Having a pair of 1680x1050 monitors to work with will definitely help with all the notes I keep.
