So… First of all, I ended up finding the family dog Molly dead this morning, likely from a heart attack. She hadn't been eating for the last several days, and despite the vets mentioning her heart murmur, they didn't give her anything for it. That's one more member of the family gone, but at least she isn't in pain anymore. It hurt finding her there on the floor, but more that it brought back memories of having to call time on my mom when she passed away.

If I had the money, I'd do what I always do at the loss of a family member: go out and eat while remembering the fun times. It was a tradition my mom and I started a long time ago, and one I try not to avoid. Due to lack of money, I'll be making a meal at home instead.

Next up, I wanted to mention that my lack of updates has mostly been due to stress and exhaustion. Dealing with Molly's illness for the last week, and having things blow up in general over the last several weeks, hasn't made things easy. That goes triple for my writing.

I wanted to start streaming some world-building and world-planning for things in my multiverse, and maybe show off some techniques I use, but constant interruptions and high stress have prevented that. I have everything set up—including a second screen for chat and such—but just no energy or drive to do so. And if I had started streaming, I would've just been constantly interrupted anyway. And that just doesn't work for me.

Thankfully, I have a room divider on its way to me (thanks to my uncle), so I'll be able to put that up to say "I'm busy, don't bother me." And that will make a world of difference, since right now, someone has to bother me just to find out if I'm busy. With something that shows "I'm busy", they don't have to bug me to find out, unless it's something time-sensitive/important. I mean, it's not like Skype/Discord presence, where it's just ignored regardless.
