Posting from my MacBook
Dec. 7th, 2021 11:56 amSo yeah... I wasn't expecting this to work, but I'm writing and posting this from my 2009 MacBook running 10.6.8, running Safari 5.1.10 no less. I opened it up as a joke because I installed squid proxy, but here I am, doing this thing. Huh...
I just woke up a bit ago, and had opened Scrivener to work on something, when I just felt like toying around with the web browsing. The SSL proxy was added a few nights ago, but I wasn't expecting most sites to even remotely work.
Admittedly, it's not perfect, but it works. Maybe I can actually update a bit more often this way, since I prefer not being tempted by the stuff that doesn't work with this setup.
