starseerdrgn | A love of armour

Something that has mystified me for quite some time now is my fascination with proper armour. I am not only attracted to it, but somewhat aroused by it.

Now, I am not referring to that which modern humans refer to body armour, such as the vests and such that many in the armed forced wear. Rather, I refer more to the type of armour found upon many species of beasts, as well as the armour worn by many during ancient times. Platemail and scalemail in particular catch my interest rather quickly.

I believe I do know part of the reason, though it is rather difficult to explain. I see armour as something which a guardian to wear. The burden of defending another is attractive to me, and armour embodies that. I have no other way to describe it.

It is something I should allow myself to think on, though that will be for a time in which other worries are not on my mind.
