starseerdrgnHad to take my gopher server offline due to rouge crawler bots that don't give a damn about robots.txt. Went to look through gopher, and lots of politics. Went to look at YouTube, and lots of political talk. Looking up latest news on software and such? More politics. Played Spiral Knights and tried to go to the Bazaar to buy crap? People talking politics and political activism.
Nope. Just nope.
My anxiety is already a problem that keeps me from writing at my best right now. I don't need more bullcrap fueling it to new heights. I've already put myself on indefinite hiatus from Discord, IRC, and Telegram over this problem, and I'm not going to keep making my mental health worse. I mean, this is why I swore off social media.
I know shit's getting bad. Not much I can do about it where I am, in my personal situation. Having it slammed into my face every time I turn around is just making things harder for me. It's pretty much becoming all anyone can talk about. And that's really not healthy.
